Taipei People is a collection of 14 short stories written by Pai Hsien-Yung in the 1960s. The collection was first published in 1971.

In Taipei People, Pai Hsien-Yung captures a hauntingly beautiful snapshot of Chinese identity through the lives of Waishengren, mainland Chinese like Pai who fled to Taiwan during the Chinese Civil War.
